The National Center for Peace and Development (NCPD) is a Sudanese NGO established in 2003 by liberal-minded intellectuals, business leaders, and academics. For over two decades we have served as a critical bridge connecting political figures, academics, journalists, civil society leaders, and grassroots communities in constructive engagement around Sudan's most pressing challenges.

Two Decades of Democratic Work

From founding to the present, NCPD has remained committed to Sudan's transformation through every challenge and transition.

Founding & First Partnerships
NCPD founded by coalition of liberal intellectuals, academics and business leaders. First major anti-corruption workshop with African Development Bank and Transparency International. Launch of annual CPI press conferences.
2003–05
2006–15
Expansion & Knowledge Production
Expanded youth anti-corruption network across 5+ states. Published 20+ working papers in Arabic. International study tours to Germany on transparency. UN and regional forum participation including UNCAC review mechanisms.
Digital Security & Civic Response
Digital security training in partnership with MENA innovation networks. COVID-19 response programming on governance and society. Arab Youth Virtual Conference participation. Ongoing anti-corruption campaigns.

Resilience Through Crisis
